Monica, founder of Susty Mama, is an accomplished entrepreneur with 2 small businesses, an eco digital marketing agency and a dog hotel. Spreading environmental awareness, through social media partnerships and this blog, is her passion project and one she is the most proud of creating. A hub for mothers to feel seen in their motherhood journey and inspired to live more sustainably in their everyday lives in hopes of a greener, more compassionate future for our children.

Her background in marine science has offered her the ability to witness first hand the consequences climate change and anthropological disturbances have had on our environment. Through the various research projects she has been apart of in South Florida, ranging from the Florida Everglades to the Florida Keys ecosystems, she has solidified her commitment to creating change in her community and beyond.

The major catalyst, however, was stepping into motherhood and seeing how disconnected we are from our bodies, nature, and thus the world around us. She firmly believes we, as a society, have a responsibility to bettering future generations by bringing more self awareness and intentionality into our lives.
